RESOLUTION 02-102
APPROVING SUPPORT FOR HOME CARE SERVICES INC.
TRANSPORTATION INITIATIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,HomeCare Services Inc.of Dallas County is proposing to offer Dallas
County residents transportation to a Des Moines collection point for continued
transportation by MTA to downtown Des Moines;AND,
WHEREAS,the collection points in Dallas County include a stop in Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,interest has been expressed by some Waukee residents for alternate
transportation modes to downtown DM;AND,
WHEREAS,HomeCare Services,Inc.has requested community input and City of
Waukee support for the proposed public transportation connection to the Des Moines
MTA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 15[h day of July 2002 that it hereby approves support for HomeCare Services
Inc.Transportation Initiative.1
