RESOLUTION 02-100
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF BECKY JOHNSON TO A THREE
YEAR TERM ON THE WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the terms of 1/3 of all library trustees expire at the end of June each year;
AND,
WHEREAS,the recent resignation of Trustees Joe Schmidt,who has served two three
year terms and Ray Forret,who has served one three year term,have created two open
trustee positions on the Library Board of Trustees;AND,
WHEREAS,the Library Board of Trustees recommended and the council approved the
appointment of Julie Krantz to fill the vacancy of Trustee Joe Schmidt;AND,
WHEREAS,comes now the Library Board of Trustees to recommend the appointment
of Becky Johnson to fill the open trustee position of Ray Forret and to serve as a Library
Board of Trustee for three years from July 2002.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 15th day of July,2002 that it hereby approves the appointment of Becky
Johnson to a three year term on the Waukee Public Library Board of Trustees.
