RESOLUTION 02-109 I
APPROVING CERTIFICATES OF APPRECIATION FOR
BOARD/COMMITTEE MEMBERS WHO ARE NO LONGER ACTIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,citizen volunteers are the life blood of any connnunity AND,
WHEREAS,support and appreciation should always be extended to those who give of
their time,energy and talents for the betterment of the connnunity in which they live
AND,
WHEREAS,John Novotny,Ray Forret,Joe Schmidt and Stan Lawson have served
arduously,faithfully and with spirit on one ofthe various boards,connnittees and
commissions of the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 5th day of August 2002 that it hereby approves certificates of appreciation for
board/committee members John Novotny,Ray Forret,Joe Schmidt and Stan Lawson.
