RESOLUTION 02-112
APPROVING LEASE WITH VERIZON WIRELESS FOR WATER TOWER CELL
ANTENNA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Verizon Wireless has requested cell antenna space on the City of Waukee water
tower:AND,
WHEREAS,U.S.Cellular is the only other company to lease space on the tower;AND,
WHEREAS,Verizon Wireless has been asked to pay $1,000 per month with a 4%increase each
year through year 5 and 3%increase each year thereafter for the entire tenn of the agreement;
AND,
WHEREAS,the license agreement prepared by the city and attached hereto covers related
requirements to be met by Verizon Wireless during the term of this agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5th day of August 2002 that it hereby approves a lease with Verizon Wireless for ter tower cell
antenna space.
