RESOLUTION 02-132
APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT PUBLIC SERVICE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA AND THE CITY OF
CLIVE,IOWA
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,and the City of Clive,Iowa,entered into a Joint
Public Service Agreement on November 1,1999 which provides for cooperation between
the two cities with respect to maintenance of certain streets located at the boundaries
between the cities;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa,and the City of Clive,Iowa now desire to amend
the Joint Public Service Agreement to revise the description of the responsibilities
Waukee has assumed for removing snow and ice from that portion ofR-30 located within
the corporate limits of Clive.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee
that the First Amendment to the Joint Public Service Agreement between Waukee and
Clive is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 9th day of
September 2002.
