RESOLUTION 02-136 I
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH VEENSTRA &KIMM,
INC.TO INCLUDE A FEE FOR ADDITIONAL DESIGN WORK ON THE R22
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.were appointed engineers for the R22 Sewer
Improvements Project as part of the nine project on the Urban Renewal Capital
Improvements List on November 5,2001 and again on July 1,2002;AND,
WHEREAS,the design work resulting in plans and specifications for the Project has
been completed;AND,
WHEREAS,the additional work requested is outside the scope of the original proposal
and entails more than reviewing the current design for minor modifications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 9th day of September 2002 that it hereby approves an amendment to
agreement with Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.to include a fee for additional design work on the
R22 Sewer Improvements Project.]
