RESOLUTION 02-158
APPROVING A SEWER EASEMENT WITH KEVIN AND MICHELLE
PATRICK OF 920 1ST STREET
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,providing sewer service to the new library and Immanuel Lutheran Church
by using an underground force main is more cost effective than installing a gravity sewer
line in Warrior Lane;AND,
WHEREAS,Kevin and Michelle Patrick have agreed to allow the City to install an
underground force main across the northern 10 feet of their property,which empties into
the sewer main at the western end of that 10 feet;AND,
WHEREAS,to compensate Kevin and Michelle Patrick who have agreed to the
easement,the City of Waukee has agreed to pave an area next to the existing driveway
and garage to allow for additional parking.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21 st day of October 2002 that it hereby approves a sewer easement as is with
Kevin and Michelle Patrick of 920 1st Street.Changes to the easement between the
Council's approval and signing of the document require that the document be returned to
Council for approval of changes.
