RESOLUTION 02-181
APPROVING OCTOBER 2002 STRATEGIC PLANNING REPORT,AS
PREPARED BY TIM J.SIllELDS
DIRECTOR,INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Mayor Leslie,City Council and Staff were present at two informal
workshop sessions facilitated by Tim J.Shields,Director,Institnte of Public Affairs;
AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor and Council with input from Staff
1)reviewed the accomplishments during the past year,
2)worked through strategic priorities and the action steps necessary to
each priority,
3)discussed capital improvements and the planning process;AND,
WHEREAS,Tim Shields compiled the results of those two meetings into a SWll111aTY
Report of City of Waukee Strategic Planning,October 2002,the contents attached hereto.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this is"day of November that it hereby accepts and approves the October 2002
Strategic Planning Report as prepared by Tim Shields,Director of the Institute of Public
Affairs.
