RESOLUTION 04-205
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF DONALD L.BAILEY,JR
AS THE WAUKEE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE
DALLAS COUNTY HOUSING TRUST FUND BOARD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORlTY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Dallas County has created a Housing Trust Fund,whose mission and
purpose is to address the affordable housing needs within the county through
coordination and long term planuing;including securing and allocating resources to
address the umnet housing need which may exist within the county;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is participating and partnering with Dallas County and
other municipalities located within the county in addressing umnet housing needs within
the City of Waukee by securing a flexible source of funds to address affordable housing
needs;AND,
WHEREAS,the Mayor of the City of Waukee reconnnends appointing Donald L.
Bailey,Jr.as the Waukee Representative to this newly created Dallas County Housing
Trust Fund.j
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 13th day of September 2004 that it hereby approves the appointment of
Donald L.Bailey,Jr.as our representative to the Dallas County Housing Trust Fund
Board of Directors.
