MINUTES OF THE TUESDAY MARCH 27,2007 PLANNlNG AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING.
Chairman Hoifeldt called the March 27,2007 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Connnission to order at 7:00
p.m.
Roll Call.Chairman Hoifeldt asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were present:Hoifeldt,
Airhart,Dutcher,Steele,Wilson,Mook,and Schmidt (7:02pm).Absent:None.Others in attendance:Beth
Richardson,Brad Deets,Dennis Dowell,and John Kursitis,
Agenda Approval.Motion by Commissioner Mook,seconded by Commissioner Airhart,to "Approve the
Agenda for March 27,2007."Ayes:Mook,Airhart,Steele,Hoifeldt,Wilson,Schmidt,and Dutcher.Nays:
None.Motion carried.
Approval of March 13,2007 Regular Meeting Minutes.Motion by Commissioner Steele,seconded by
Commissioner Airhart,to "Adopt the March 13,2007 Regular Meeting Minutes."Ayes:Steele,Airhart,Mook,
Hoifeldt,Wilson,Schmidt,and Dutcher.Nays:None.Motion carried.
Open Forum.No one appeared to address the Commission during the Open Forum.
Motion to Approve the Preliminary Plat for Glynn Village Plat 2.Doug Saltsgaver with Engineering
Resource Group represented the preliminary plat for Glynn Village Plat 2.The preliminary plat is a replat of
lots 99-107 of Glynn Village Plat 1 to include an additional ten feet to the west of each existing property line.
Motion by Commissioner Mook,seconded by Commissioner Steele to "Approve the Preliminary Plat for Glynn
Village Plat 2."Ayes:Mook,Steele,Wilson,Schmidt,Hoifeldt,and Airhart.Nays:None.Abstain:Dutcher.
Motion carried.
Motion to Approve the Final Plat for Glynn Village Plat 2.Doug Saltsgaver with Engineering Resource
Group represented the final plat for Glynn Village Plat 2.The fmal plat is a replat of lots 99-107 of Glynn
Village Plat 1 to include an additional ten feet to the west of each existing properly line.The existing public
utility easement located in the rear of the lots will be vacated by the City and the developer will provide a new
easement and move any existing utilities into the new easement area.Motion by Commissioner Mook,
seconded by Commissioner Steele to "Approve the Final Plat for Glynn Village Plat 2 subject to the receipt of
the legal documents."Ayes:Mook,Steele,Wilson,Schmidt,Hoifeldt,and Airhart.Nays:None.Abstain:
Dutcher.Motion carried.
New Business.Brad Deets reminded the Commissioners of the Comp Plan public meeting on March 281h from
5 to 8 PM.The City Council at the last meeting requested that staff to review the temporary sales office
concept.An ordinance will be brought to the Planning and Zoning Commission at the next regular meeting.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Steele,second by Commissioner Schmidt,to adjourn at
7:14 p.m.Ayes:Steele,Schmidt,Dutcher,Hoifeldt,Airhart,Wilson,and Mook.Nays:None.Motion carried.
