Chairman Hoifeldt called the May 22,2007 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission to order at 7:00 p.rn. Roll Call.Chairman Hoifeldt asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were present:Hoifeldt, Airhart,Dutcher,Steele,Wilson,Mook,and Schmidt.Absent:None.Others in attendance:Beth Richardson, Brad Deets,Dennis Dowell,Ben Landhauser,and Jor.11Kursitis, Agenda Approval.Motion by Commissioner Wilson,seconded by Commissioner Schmidt,to "Approve the Agenda for May 22,2007,"Ayes:Wilson,Schmidt,Airhart,Mook,Steele,Hoifeldt,and Dutcher.Nays:None. Motion carried. Approval of April 24,2007 Regular Meetiug Miuutes.Motion by Commissioner Mook,seconded by Commissioner Airhart,to "Adopt the April 10,2007 Regular Meeting Minutes."Ayes:Mook,Airhart,Wilson, Steele,Hoifeldt,Schmidt,and Dutcher.Nays:None.Motion carried. Opeu Forum.No one appeared to address the Commission during the Open Forum. Motion to Approve the Preliminary Plat for Grant Park Plat 2.Wally Pelds of A.Leo Pelds Engineering Company represented the preliminary plat for Grant Park Plat 2.The preliminary plat is for 75 single family lots and 35 bi-attached dwelling lots on approximately 52.55 acres.The preliminary plat also indicates an 11.24 acre outlot for futnre commercial development at the east end of the plat which borders the Alice's Road Corridor area.The property is generally located east of Grant Park Plat I,south of Parkview Crossing Plat 7 and north of 3121h Street.Motion by Commissioner Schmidt,seconded by Commissioner Mook to "Approve the preliminary plat for Grant Park Plat 2 subject to remaining staff comments and the drainage issues address prior to Council review."Ayes:Schmidt,Mook,Steele,Wilson,Hoifeldt,Dutcher,and Airhart.Nays:None. Motion carried. Motiou to Approve the preliminary plat for The Point Plat 2.No representative for this project was available for comments or questions.The preliminary plat is for 3 commercial lots containing approximately 16.07 acres.The preliminary plat also indicates an outlot for future development in the northern portion of the plat between the 3 connnercial lots and Point of Grace Church.The property is generally located east of Enterprise Business Park Plat 3,south of The Point Plat I and north of Hickman Road (Highway 6).Motion by Commissioner Steele,seconded by Commissioner Dutcher to "Approve the preliminary plat for The Point Plat 2 subject to outstanding staff comments."Ayes:Steele,Dutcher,Mook,Schmidt,Wilson,Hoifeldt,and Airhart. Nays:None.Motion carried, New Business.Brad Deets will notify the Commissioners when the next Comprehensive Plan Advisory Meeting will take place. Adjonrnment.Motion by Commissioner Steele,second by Commissioner Wilson,to adjourn at 7:42 p.m.Ayes:Steele,Wilson,Schmidt,Dutcher,Hoifeldt,Airhart,and Mook.Nays:None.Motion carried.
