Chairman Hoifeldt called the June 27,2006 meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission to order at
7:00p.m.
Roll Call.Chairman Hoifeldt asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were present:Steele,
Hoifeldt,Krantz,Schmidt,Wilson.Absent:Dutcher,Mook.Others in attendance:John Gibson,Brad
Deets,Shannon Lynch,Dennis Dowell,Tim Royer,and John Kursitis.
Agenda Approval.Motion by Commissioner Schmidt,seconded by Commissioner Wilson,to "Approve
the Agenda for June 27,2006."Ayes:Steele,Hoifeldt,Sclnnidt,Wilson,Krantz.Nays:None.Motion
carried.
Approval of March 14,2006 Meeting Minutes.Motion by Commissioner Wilson,seconded by
Commissioner Steele,to "Adopt the June 13,2006 Meeting Minutes."Ayes:Steele,Wilson,Hoifeldt,
Krantz,Schmidt.Nays:None.Motion carried.
Open Forum.No one appeared to address the Commission during the Open Forum.
Approve the Final Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 8.City Planner Brad Deets told the Commission this is
a 17.5 acre plat located north of SE Olson Dr and east of SE Waco Place.He said City staffis
recommending approval subject to remaining staff comments.Motion by Commissioner Krantz,seconded
by Connnissioner Wilson to "Approve the Final Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 8 Subject to Remaining Staff
Comments and Completion of Punch List."Ayes:Krantz,Steele,Schmidt,Hoifeldt,Wilson.Nays:None.
Motion carried.
Approve the Site Plan Extension for Hickory Hills Center.The site plan for the 15,000 square foot strip
center at the corner of Hickman Road and Warrior Lane was approved by the City Council on August 15,
2005.The site plan ordinance states that site plans are valid for one year after approval with the ability to
receive a one year extension on the site plan if requested.The applicant,Hickory Hills,L.C.has requested
that the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council consider a one-year extension for the approved
site plan.Brad Deets says it appears as though the site plan approved last year continues to meet all current
site plan requirements and City Staff would recommend approval ofthe requested one year extension of the
site plan for Hickory Hills Center.Commissioner Hoifeldt asked if any extensions would be allowed
beyond this one.Mr.Deets said no,there is only one extension allowed.Motion by Commissioner Steele,
seconded by Commissioner Wilson to "Approve the Site Plan Extension for Hickory Hills Center."Ayes:
Krantz,Steele,Schmidt,IIoifeldt,Wilson.Nays:None.Motion carried.
New Business.None.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Krantz,second by Commissioner Steele,to adjourn at 7:14 p.m.
Ayes:Steele,Schmidt,Hoifeldt,Krantz,Wilson.Nays:None.Motion carried,Meeting adjourned.
