MINUTES OF THE TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 26,2006 PLANNING AND ZONTNG COMMISSION
MEETING.
Vice Chairman Schmidt called the September 26,2006 meeting ofthe Planning and Zoning
Commission to order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call.Vice Chairman Schmidt asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were
present:Mook,Schmidt,Wilson,Krantz,Dutcher,Steele.Absent:Hoifeldt.Others in attendance:
Brad Deets,Shannon Lynch,Dennis Dowell,Council Member Bailey and Jolm Kursitis.
Agenda Approval.Motion by Commissioner Krantz,seconded by Commissioner Mook,to "Approve
the Agenda for September 26,2006."Ayes:Steele,Mook,Schmidt,Wilson,Krantz,Dutcher.Nays:
None.Motion carried.
Approval of September 12,2006 Meeting Minutes.Motion by Commissioner Schmidt,seconded by
Commissioner Krantz,to "Adopt the September 12,2006 Meeting Minutes."Ayes:Steele,Mook,
Schmidt,Wilson,Krantz,Dutcher.Nays:None.Motion carried.
Open Forum.No one appeared to address the Commission during the Open Forum,
Approve the Preliminary Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 13.City Planner Brad Deets explained that
the subject property includes two lots which are zoned for multi-family residential development.
Motion by Commissioner Krantz,seconded by Commissioner Dutcher to "Approve the Preliminary
Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 13 Subject to Remaining Staff Comments."Ayes:Steele,Mook,II
Schmidt,Wilson,Krantz,Dutcher.Nays:None.Motion carried,
New Business.City Planner Brad Deets updated the Commission on the Comprehensive Plan Update.
The Selection Committee interviewed four consultants and have narrowed them down to two.
Commissioner Mook asked for all update on the Key Corridors Project.Mr.Deets said he will have a
report out next week.Commissioner Steele asked about Painted Woods Plats 2 and 3.MT.Deets said
ther(:are still issues that need addressed by the developer.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Krantz,second by Commissioner Wilson,to adjourn at
7:09 p.m.Ayes:Steele,Mook,Schmidt,Wilson,Krantz,Dutcher.Nays:None.Motion carried.
