HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-02-26-Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes222 February 26,1991 The regular meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order on Tuesday,February 26 at 7.31 P.M.by Chairman Mark Casey.The meeting was held at the Waukee Public Library. Dianna Van Zee was present and taking minutes. Roll was taken and the following members were present.Mark Casey,Jerry Steele,Lloyd Royer,Randy Foster,Dick Applegate. Absent,Eric Korpanty,Joan Christianson Guests,Mark Broderick,Bob Christianson,Ric Ross,Steve Pierce-Veenstra &Kimm,Jim Berner,Mark Gruber. The first order of business. Ric Ross wanted to show the members his plat plans for "Westfield".He wanted to see if the members had any problems with the plat and if not he would present them for preliminary approval at the next regular meeting in March. A discussion with the members and Steve Pierce took place and the Commission told him it was okay to present next month. The minutes were read and the date at the bottom was amended to I I read February 26,1991.Motion by Foster,Second by Steele to I approve the following minutes.6/19,7/5,7/16,7/30,8/281 9/24,10/29,11/7,11/27,12/28,and 1122.Motion carried 4 to 0. Bob Barrett,Council Representative,arrived at 8.40 P.M. A discussion took place regarding the revised Reveiw Land Sub- division Regulations for review,The amendments are as follows, 303.139--1s okay as stated to read 7.5feet 303.55---Should read,ten (10)prints of the Preliminary Plat together with twenty (20)completed application forms 303.58---1s okay as stated 303.63---Should read,Ten (10)prints and six (6)copies of the application form for final approval 303.85---Should read,sewers,and culverts,location 303.110--1s okay as stated I 22:1' February 26,1991 meeting continued. 303.128--change the word "long"to "longer"and the word "a"to read "at"the closed end with a turnaround 303.165--change the word "With"to "within"the subdivision 303.178--Steve Pierce will look into this 303.189--Steve Pierce will check into crossing out "sidewalks" 303.185--Steve Pierce will look into this 303.209--This needs to be reviewed--to include the cost of review process of the Engineer &Attorney. The next meeting will be March 26,1991. Motion by Royer,second by Applegate to adjourn at 9.05 P.M.
