March 24,1992
The regular Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order at
7:34 P.M.on Tuesday,March 24,1992 by Chairman Casey.Dianna
Van Zee was present and taking minutes.
The following members were present,Steele,Applegate,Korpanty,
Royer,Foster.Absent:Christianson
Guests:Bill Inman,Jack Inman,John Kursitis,Mark Gruber,Don
Lee Bailey-Council Rep.
Applegate motioned,second by Steele to approve minutes of 1/28.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
Korpanty motioned,Steele second to approve the minutes of 2/25.
Motion carried 6 to 0.
Bill Inman wants to have a rezoning of property from C-l to
to build townhouses backing up to Liberty Park strip mall.
would be 24 units some with garages.They would be rentals
first with possibility of being sold as condos later.

A petition was submitted with approximately 70%of the people
being contacted and have signed.The rest haven't been contacted
yet.They hope to start some time this summer if it is rezoned.
Applegate motioned to rezone from C-l to R-4 south 170.00 feet of
lots 25 &26 in Mary Ann Estates plat no.2.Second by Royer.
A discussion took place the commission wanted to make sure it fit
in with the comprehensive plan.There would be no fence at this
time and the garages could act as a buffer zone.R-4 would
permit this type of houses.Then when the site plan is done it
would be brought back to P&Z for approval.Motion carried 6 to
0.
Eric Sheldahl's senior citizen housing project was tabled till
next time.The commission would like him to be present to
discuss his plans.
John Kursitis discussed the Comprehensive Plan.John stated that
these are the policies and if these policies are in agreement
with the commission then they will move on to the next part of
the plan which will be the map.
The P&Z commission was in an agreement for John to proceed with
the next step of the comprehensive plan.

The commission discussed the bike trail.They wanted it to be on
the utility right-of-way.They would like it to go through I
Southfork &hook up with Clive.The commission has already set
aside and easement through this area.Randy Foster wants them to .
look at the easement again.That was the feeling of the
commission that they would place it on the gas &water easement.
The next meeting will be April 28th.
Applegate motioned,Foster seconded to adjourn.Meeting
adjourned at 8,35 P.M.

The special meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called
to order at 6:46 P.M.on Monday,March 2,1992 by Chairman Mark
Casey.
Members present were:Korpanty,Christiansen,Casey,Royer &
Steele.
Mmembers were given comments from Veenstra and Kimm on Cherry
Glen.Discussion was held on these comments.Korpanty brought up
questions of park set-aside (or cash in lieu of).
Royer moved for adjournment.Steele second.Meeting adjourned at
6:54 P.M.
