The following members were present:Pierce,Heskitt,Royer,Steele,
Casey {7:42},and Council Representative Bailey (7:50).Absent:
Foster,Korpanty.

A special meeting of Planning &Zoning was called to order by
Steve Pierce at 7:35 on Hay 1,1990.
Guests:Brian Redshaw,Al Munsterman,Paul Huscher,Larry Crannell,
Gary Smith,Steve Venard,William Lillie,and Verle Smith.
The first item of business concerned Smith'sOffice/Retail building
on Highway 6 between 4th &6th Streets.Commission reviewed
new plans and revisions.City Council had voted to have city
be responsible for approach to alley and Smith will pave alley
(20'wide)from approach to his access.
Munsterman recounted items of his letter of May 1st concerning
easements ..
Structure to be wood frame,brick front,and truss rafters.
Casey moved to accept site plan.Royer seconded.Motion carried.
Next order of business:Chairman Pierce citing the fact that
Veenstra &Kimm had been appointed as new city engineering firm
and that he would be their representative submitted his resignation
as Planning &Zoning Chairman.Vice Chairman M.Casey will take
over as chairman.
Paul Huscher reviewed application procedures for projects to
Planning &Zoning.(Section 36;97:file for prelim.and final
plat.
Huscher recommended that Planning &Zoning follow strict adherence
to regulations.
June 19th at 7,30 will be next regular meeting (7:30)unless
some item is submitted before regular May meeting.
Royer moved for adjournment,Heskitt seconded.
at 9:14.
