Present:Dick Herbert,Don Faust,Robert Gallagher,Jim Berner,Vivian Wilson,
and Claire Chedester
Absent:Joe Powell
The Planning and Zoning Committee Meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
The last Committee Report was read and approved -Carried.
The Committee reviewed the new proposed zoning ordinances provided to the
Commission by Central Iowa Regional Associations of Local Government.Motion
madeto approve as printed and forward to the City Council.Motion Don Faust,
seconded Dick Herbert -Carried.
The proposed subdivision ordinance was reviewed and three items must be changed
before being forwarded to the City Council.
New officers were elected as follows:
Claire Chedester -Chairman -Motion -Jim Berner,seconded -Dick
Herbert -Carried.It should be noted that Claire Chedester,Vice-
Chairman,was filling the Chairman position.
Robert Gallagher -Vice Chairman -Motion Don Faust,seconded Dick
Herbert -Carried.
The Commission ask that a Secretary be appointed and paid Five Dollars ($5.00)
per meeting.Motion Don Faust,_seconaed Robert Gallagher -Carried.
Motion made to change the meeting time to 8:00 P.M.on the third Tuesday of each
Month.Motion Don Faust,seconded Robert Gallagher -Carried.
Motion made that new Building Administrator be appointed.Motion Jim Berner,
seconded Vivian Wilson -Carried.
Motion made to adjourn -Carried

The Planning and Zoning Committee meeting was called to order at 8.00 P.M.
The last Committee Report was read and approved -Carried.
The proposal to appoint a secretary from outside the Committee was brought up for
consideration.A motion by Claire Chedester wa made to appoint Doug Pogge as sec-
retary for the Planning and Zoning Committee.Seconded-Robert Gallagher -Carried.
Since Doug Pogge volunteered for the position,the five dollar monthly fee that was
discussed at the May 18th meeting will be incurred.
