Meeting of the WaukeePlanning and Zoning Comrnissiol1 was held at
the f,ire station July 25,19b'?Memberspresent were Brickert,
Keller,Mullen;and Neubauer.Absent were Olson,Jones and Ammon.
ll.letter was read by Neubauer from Gary Claude t hat he had received
a copy of the notificdion of the funding of the first 50;1 of the
Planning for the town of ':laukee.He was to start iUlJnediately on our
progra.'ll.
i}ary Claude and Mr.Corliss Smalley of ""he Iowa Development
Commissionwere present 8:0 t his meeting.A regular monthly meeting
night Was discussed and was tentatively set for the second Tuesday
of each mOlnh 8:"7:30 P.M.Since the second 1'uesday of August was
such a short time away,the Com~missionand Mr.Clallde decided to dis-
pense with the ll.Ugll.stmeeting.The next time of meeting will be
Sept.12,1967.Mr.Claude presented the Lead-Tns to Sections A and B
of the Scope of Services of the Planning Progrrun.
Er.Henry Oakes also met with the Commissionto discuss the
Engineering Specifications for the new sub_division iE~rovements in
Waukee.A few changes and additions were discussed and Mr.Oakes
will m.~e changes in the final specifications-subject'%he Tovna
Council's approval.
Motion was ,nade by Brickert to accevo the specs and seconded
by Mullen.Motion passed by un~nimous vote.
