Jack Stevens,one-half interest owner of Marv's Auto Body Shop, and
Niok Critelli, lawyer for Mr.Stevens, visited with the Commission
about Marv's Auto Body Shop.Due to business inoreases, they indi-
oate that they will need more room in not moretthan two months.
They also observedtthat State requirements make it necessary for
them to install an approved paint booth and paint storage room.
Mr.Stevens and Mr.Critelli requested permission to expand the auto
body repair operation to the entire building where they now oocupy
only the northerly portion. They conten~that the paint booth oon-
struotion or installation and the paint-boom oonstruction which
they contemplate would not constitute structural alteration of the
building. They also say that Marv's Auto Body activity outside
the building would not increase andtthey feel that it would aotually
decrease with the availability ofmmore space inside the building.
They feel that they oan expand the present non-conforming usage
without being in violation of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Ordinance.
Sinoe a zoning change is not being requested at this time,Mr.Stevens
and Mr.Critelli were asked~contaot the Waukee Administrative
Offioer,John Felton, and to apply for a Certificate of Zoning
Compnance.
Minutes of the August 31,1972 Speoial meeting were distributed and
approved.
