The requ La r meet Ing of t ne Planning &Zoning Commission was
called to order at 7:37 P.M.on Tuesday,September 24,1991 by
acting Chairman Jerry Steele.
Roll was taking and the following members were present:Steele,
Applegate,Royo r ,Korpanty.Absent:Christianson,Foster,
Casey.
Dianna Van Zee was present and taking minutes.
Guests:Steve Pierce-V&K,John Kursitis-V&K,Rick Ross.
Korpanty motioned,seconded by Applegate to approve the minutes.
Motioned carried 4 to 0.
Steve Pierce discussed the Park Land Dedication Ordinance with
the commission.After a lengthy discussion the Commission
recommended for the Council the following:Recommends a straight
fee as follows:$100 per acre,$200 per house,$150 per duplex,
$75 per apartment.This would go into a Park fund and be drawn
out as needed.This straight fee would be collected up front by
the developer.Motioned by Applegate,second by Royer.Motioned
carried 3 to 1 (Korpanty voting no).
Rick Ross requests that the P&Z have a special meeting to before
the October Council meeting.P&Z stated that they would not
object.
Steve discussed that Lloyd Clark wanted to construct 3
homes before the final plat was approved on Westfield.

John Kursitis discussed the Comprehensive Plan Update.The plan
is moving along fine with the exception of needing a streets
update done.Brian will be asked to handle this so this phase of
the plan can be finished up.
The next meeting will be held October 22 at 7:30 P.M.
Royer motioned,Applegate seconded to adjourn the meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 9:20 P.M.
