Present:Claire Chedester,Robert Gallagher,Jim Berner,Vivian Wilson,
Dick Herbert,and Don Faust
Absent:Joe Powell
The Planning and Zoning Committee meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM.
The last Committee report was read and approved.
Due to there being no issues that needed to be acted upon,Vivian Wilson
motioned that the meeting be adjourned,seconded -Jim Berner,Carried.

Motion made to change the time of the Planning and Zoning Committee meeting.
from the third Tuesday of the month to the first Tuesday of the month starting
in December.Motion made by Dick Herbert,~econded by Joe Powell.Carried 5 to O.
Motion made to not accept the final Plat of Woodshire West plat one for the
following reasons:
a.The plat filing does not comply with the sub-divisions ordinance in the
areas of bonding requirements and other documents required for the filing of
a final plat.
b.The street names of Maple and Walnut should be changed to avo~dconfusinn
with existing street names.
The committee suggests that Inmac,Inc.review the sub-division ordinance of the
City of Waukee so the final plat,when filed,will conform to the requirements
set forth in the ordinances.Motion made by flon Faust,seconded by Dick Herbert.
Carried 5 to O.
Joyce Spencer explained their plans for an auction barn on their property
located South of Ashworth.The committee felt a review of our rights and respon-
sibilities with the city attorney would be necessary before any action could
be taken.We will then notify the Spencers of the proper action to take.
No motion made.
Motion made and seconded to adjourn.Carried.
