The regular meeting of the Planning &Zoning Committee was held on Monday,
October 29,1990.The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mark Casey
at 7:31 P.M.Dianna Van Zee was present and taking minutes.
Roll was taken and the following members were present:
Hesk.ett,Steele.
Casey,Applegate,
Absent:Foster
Korpanty and Royer bother arrived at 7:33 P.M.
Guests present:Steve Pierce from V&K,Don Bailey,Councilman Rep-
resentative,and Tom Davis.
First item of business:Tom Davis discussed wanting to have part of the
Mobile Home Court re-zoned from C-1 to R-6.Motion by Applegate,second
by Heskitt to change from C-1 to R-6.Carried 5 to O.
Steve Pierce discussed that the final Park Place Plat is in order and
had been withdrawn from the agenda.
Discussion of the Wild Flower Valley septic system vs sewer system took
place.Discussed putting in sanitary sewer East of Waukee to serve area
to the East.The cost is approximately 1.2 million dollars to do all of
the sewer system.
After a lengthly discussion of the land sub-division regulations,Steve
Pierce recommended the P &Z hold a special meeting to work out the
wording of these ordiniances.It was decided to hold a special P &Z
meeting on November 7th at 7:00 P.M.to work these problems out and send
them on to Paul Huscher,City Attorney,for his approval.
Motion by Heskett,second by Royer to have Mark Gruber,Zoning Administra-
tor,attend al.of the P &Z meetings.Motion Carried 5 to O.
