February 3,1987
A special meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was
called to order by Chairman Floyd Rosenkranz at 7:35 p.m.
New member,Arnold Borchers,was introduced.
Members present:
Mert~s.Absent:
Borchers,Casey,Weeks;Rosenkranz,Heskett and
Foster.
Guests present:Tom Tovrea,Council representative,and Brian Redshaw.
Moved by Casey to approve October 21,1986 minutes,seconded by Weeks.
Motion carried.
Moved by Casey to approve December 16,1986 minutes,seconded by
Borchers.Motion carried.
The off-street parking ordinance,Chapter 301,was brought un for
definition of boundaries by Redshaw.Referred to marked city man and
minutes of August 19,1986.
Election of officer for 1987 were held.Nominations made for Chairman
were Randy Foster and Floyd Rosenkranz.lfution made by Borchers that
nomlnations cease,second by Weeks.Motion carried.
It was reported that Foster may not be available past May so
Rosenkranz was elected with a vote of 4 in favor and 1 absent.
Nominations for vice-chairman made for Weeks.Borchers made motioh
that nominations cease,second by Casey.Motion carried.
Motion was made to elect Casey to nosition of secretarY.Casey declined.
Motion made to elect Randy Foster for se,cretary.Motion lost.'
Motion rnade by Rosenkranz to elect Hertes for:secretary,second by
Casey.Motion carried.
Casey agreed to make the phone calls to inform members of special
meeting times for the coming year.
The next regular meeting will be March 17,1987 at 7:30 p.m.
Moved by Heskett,second by Weeks,to adjourn.Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned.
