The regular meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning was called to
order by Chairman Floyd Rosenkranz.)
A roll call of members present:
Weeks,Mertes and Rosenkranz.
Heskett,Casey,Foster,Borchers,
Absent:None.
Guests:Merle Rees,Bill Inman,Roger Buffington and Tom Tovrea.
Rees discussed.some of the features around the Pronto Store with ref-
erence to landscaping and parking.Confirmation was given by P &Z
that all was in order per site plan.
Inman reviewed building plans for Plat 3 and 4 of Hary Ann Estates,
asking for an extension of development time for two more years.
Foster made a motion to grant approval of 2 more years for Plats 3
and 4 of Hary Ann Estates.Seconded by Casey.Hotion carried.
A brief discussion was held on the letter from Brian Redshaw concerning
R-2 zoning restrictions.The matter was tabled until our next meeting.
Following discussion persuant to annexation to the City of Waukee,
Weeks made a motion that P &Z recommends to the \vaukee City Council
for annexation of all the land from Waukee city limits to the Polk
County line between Hickman and University.Also the lands commenc-
ing with gravaroad west of Des Moines Golf &Country Club to the
Polk County line between University south to Interstate 80.Seconded
by Casey.Hotion carried.
Foster left at 9:08 p.m.
Hembers were ~ll interested in having Roger Buffington attend our
next meeting to explain the sewer study that has been made.Rosen-
kranz will check with him.
The next regular meeting will be April 21,1987.
Hotion made by Borchers,second by Casey,to adjourn.Hotion carried.
Heeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
