April 3,1985
The regular meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was
called to order at 7:30 p,m.on April 3,1985.The March 25th meeting
was called off due to a lack of a quorum.
A roll call was taken and the following members were present:Hoifeldt,
Weeks,Gutshall,Rosenkranz.Ab s en t :Demand,Hertes.
Guests:Steve Rowe,Trudy Clayton,Steve Venard,Bill Inman and
Joe Stork.
Moved by Gutshall,second by IIeeks,to approve the minutes of February
4,1985.Carried unan~mously.
A discussion took place concerning an Ordinance to amend Chapter 301,
Waukee Municipal Code,Zoning Ordinance Section 30l.l6A to allow "Child
Care Centers and Nursery Schools"and "Nursing lIor.J.esand Retirement
Homes.
Moved by Weeks,second by Gutshall to recommend to the City Council
that they amend the City code as stated above.Carried unanimously.
A discussion took place concerning final plat approval for Plat #1
of Mary Ann Estates.
Moved by Weeks,second by Rosenkranz,to approve Plat #1 for final
platting.Carried unanimously.I
A discussion took place concerning satellite dishes,CB and shortwave
antennas and windchargers.
Hoved by Rosenkranz,second by Gutshall,to adjourn.Carried unaninously.
Meeting adjourned.
The next scheduled meeting will be April 29,1985 at 7:30 p.m.
