The April meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission
was called to order at 7:40 p.m.on Tuesday,April 6,1982.
Present were Norma Frnks,Bruce Buxton,Lee Felt,Nicole Keller,
Frank Hoifeldt,acting chairman,and Brian Redshaw,city admin-
istrato~.Absent were:Kenn Spahr and Pat Gutshall.

Guests were:Bob Christianson,Neil Kirsten,Dan Moore,
Larry Oetting and Roger Buffington.
Mr Christianson and Mr Kirsten proposed rezoning a parcel of
property on Highway 6 between 6th Street &4th Street.Much
discussion took place.
Lee Felt left at 8:30 p,m.stating he was in favor of rezoning.
More discussion took place.
Norma Franks moved and Bruce Buxton seconded that the property
be rezoned.A roll call vote was taken:
Norma Franks------yes
Bruce Buxton------yes
Nicole Keller-----no
Frank Hoifeldt----no
No action taken because of the tie vote.
A special meeting was called for April 20 at 7:30 p.m.to be
held at City Hall.The purpose will be to discuss the commercially
zoned property and R-3 zoned property.
Moved by Norma Franks,second by Bruce Buxton,that the meeting
be adjourned.Carried 4 toO.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
