April 20,1982
The meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was called
to order at 7:40 p.m.on Tuesday,April 20,1982.
Present were:Norma Franks,Lee Felt,Frank Hoifeldt,Kenn Spahr,
chairman,and Brian Redshaw,city administrator.Absent were:
Nicole Keller,Bruce Buxton &Pat Gutshall.
Guests were:Bob Christianson,Neil Kirsten,&Gordon Christianson.
Mr Christianson&Mr Kirsten approached the Commission on the rezoning
of ap'arceI'of land on liighway-6 owned by David Steele from C-2
to R-3.
Much discussion took place.
Lee Felt moved and Norma Franks seconded that the above mentioned
property be rezoned from C-2 to R-3.A roll call vote was taken
as follows:

took olace to rezone the whole parcel of land on Highway
by 6th Street to Tom &Jerry's Restaurant from C-2 to
Lee Felt made a motion and Norma Franks seconded that the above
mentioned property owned by David Steele &John Shoeman &Mary &
Robert Schammerhorn be rezoned from C-2 to R-3.A roll call vote
was taken as follows:

Spahr,Franks,Felt

Kenn Spahr stated that he would be resigning from the Planning &
Zoning Commission effective April 20,1982 due to family commitments.
Lee Felt left the meeting at 8:30 p.m.
It was decided to table any discussion on further R-3 zoning until
we could get more of the Commission together.
Frank Hoifeldt moved and Norma Franks seconded to adjourn.Carried
3 to O.
