The regular meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission
met at 7:30 p.m.on May 28,1985.
Members present:Gutshall,Rosenkranz,Demand"Hoifeldt,Mertes,
Weeks and Foster.
New member,Randy Foster,was introduced.
Guests at this meeting were:Joe Stork,Brian Redshaw,and
Roger Buffington.City Engineer.
A correction was made to the April 29 minutes on the motion
that property be spot zoned to R-3 instead of (R-3 or R-4).
Pat Gutshall made the motion to approve the minutes as amended
and it was seconded by Rosenkranz.Passed unanimously.
Chairman Hoifeldt leg a discussion on the possibility of rezoning
the area from 6th Street on the west to 4th Street on the east
Co-op property on the south to Highway 6 on the north.It was
the consensus of Commission members to leave questioned area
zoned as C-2.
A discussion was held on Section 30l.l3C-Bulk Regulations to
possibly change requirements for lot area.Commission members
felt the Zoning Ordinance should remain the same.IMovedbyRosenkranz,second by Demand,to adjourn.Motion
carried.
The next scheduled meeting to be held on June 24 at 7:30 p.m.
