,I The regular May Planning &Zoning meeting was called to order May 2nd
at 7:32 p.m.Members present were:Hoifeldt,Gutshall,Demand,Keller,
and Felt.Absent was Moore.No guests were present.
Gutshall moved,Felt seconded to approve the minutes as read.Passed
unanimously.
Hoifeldt discussed the Council's reaction to our letter.
A discussion was held concerning dating of pages of ordinance.The
City Clerk said he would have a new updated ordinance for each member
at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be June 6th.
Keller moved,Felt seconded,to adjourn.Passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.

June 6,1983
The June meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called to
order June 6th at 7:50 p.m.Members present were:Frank Hoifeldt,
Nicole Keller,Leland Felt,and Thomas Demand.
Guests were:John Grubb,Steve Grubb and Barry Bishop.
Moved by Felt,second by Demand,to pass the minutes of the previous
meeting as read.Passed unanimously.
The Grubbs and Mr Bishop presented a proposal to build single unattached
housing on the land at 8th &Cherry,now zoned R-4.After much
discussion,it was decided that the P &Z had no authority in the
matter due to the fact it did not fit any current zoning catagories
in Waukee's ordinance.
The guests requested a vote of approval by the board.
Moved by Keller,second by Demand,that such a development would be a
desireable use of the land.A roll call vote was called as follows:

Hoifeldt,Keller,Felt,Demand
None recorded.
Motion carried 4 to O.

The next meeting will be Tuesday,July 5.

The July regular meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was
called to order at 7:35 p.m.by Chairman Frank Hoifeldt.

A roll call was taken and the following members were present:Nicky
Keller,Lee Felt,and Frank Hoifeldt.
Since there was not a quorum present,Chairman Hoifeldt called off
the meeting.
The next meeting will be August 1,1983 at 7:30 p.m.
Meeting adjourned

The August meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called to
order at 7:35 p.m.on August 1,1983.Members present were:Frank
Hoifeldt,Thomas Demand,Pat Gutshall,Nicole Keller,and Lee Felt.
No guests attended the meeting.
The Commission discussed proposed Ordinance #2023 and the state meeting
for Planning &Zoning members.
Moved by Gutshall,second by Demand,to adjourn.Passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
The next meeting will be 7:00 p.m.on Tuesday,September 6,1983.
