A special called meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission
was called to order at 7:37 p.m.by Chairman Floyd Rosenkranz.
Roll call of members present:Casey,Rosenkranz,Weeks,Foster and
Mertes.Absent:Demand.
Guests:Bob &Jim McKinney,Norman Hammen,Pat Hammen,Doug Hammen,
and Brian Redshaw.
Moved by Casey,second by Foster,that minutes from May 20,1986 be
approved.Motion carried.
James McKinney of McKinney &McKinney Law Firm presented to P &Z
a letter from Norman Hammen and a drawing of the proposed fast food
restaurant at 505--4th St,Waukee,with the desire to have the prop-
erty rezoned from R-2 to C-2.
Moved by Foster,second by Casey,'to recommend to the City Council
to approve rezoning the property at 50S-4th St from R-2 to C-2.
The vote was 2 ayes,1 nay,~abstain and 1 absent.Motion carried.

A discussion was held on possible changes to Waukee Zoning Ordinance
301.8 (Accessory buildings).Weeks will check with UBC Code.
The r e will be no regular meeting held in June.The next regular
meeting will be held July 15,1986.
