A special meeting of the Haukee Planning &Zoning COI!lTIlissionwas
called to order at 8:21 p.m.on June 19,1986 by Chairman Floyd
Rosenkranz.
A roll call was taken and the following members were present:Casey,
Fos ter,Rosenkranz,,veeks.Absent:Demand,He r t.es ,
Guests:Brian Redshaw,Fred &Cathy Deaver.
The site plan for the Pronto Store was submitted for final approval
with the following items in reference to letters from Snyder &
Associated dated June 16,1986 of concern:
#3--The drainage is maintained to the east of the site.
#lO--The lighting was shown on the site plan and the building &sign.
#ll--Trees were indicated to the north of the parking lot.
#12--A general opinion of the P &Z Commission that no screening
is required on the north lot line.
#14--The curb and gutter was shown of 4th &Laurel Sts.
It was pointed out by Brian Redshaw that there was a conflict by
the City Attorney concerning the classification of the building"as
a garage and not as a rehail store.
A portion of the previous meetings minutes were read verifying that
the P &Z Commission felt that because of the lack of a convenience
store classification and the larger percentage of sales were from
gasoline,that the Pronto Store fell under the garage classification
for parking requirements..
Motion made by Casey to accept the revised site plan of
1 of Mary Ann Estates dated 6-17-86,second by Foster.
4 to O.

Motion carried
Motion made by Heeks,to advise the City Council to revise Section
301.22 of the Zoning Ordinance to read:
(18)Retail sales (serving gas)under 4000 sq ft,one stall
per 300 sq.ft.
Second by Foster,Motion carried 4 to O.
Motion made by Heeks for adjournment,second by Foster.l'1otion
carried 3 to 1.
