Planning and ~oning meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

A rewiew of George Gray's preliminary plat of 7 &8 was made.
Due to some lot size changes,the plat still met with present
zoning regulations.A motion was made by Dick Herbert,seconded
by Joe Powell to approve the plat -carried.
No further business.A motion was made to adjourn by VFiV~'an

Guests:Jim Higgs (Farmers Coop),Remo Nizzi and representatives
of Gratis Construction Co.
Mr.Higgs presented plans on the Coop's new grain storage
facilities.These met with certain regulations and all that was
necessary was for them to apply for a building permit.He
wanted the commission to be aware of their plans.
Gratis Construction Co.presented a set of plans on 80 acres
with 76 lots,the Conrad Ross property.They were not asking
for approval of the plan but wanted the commission's feelings
on annexation or selling water to them.The Commission as a
body,felt that annexation should be discussed in detail with
the city council and requested that Mr.Nizzi set up a joint
meeting Saturday,March 11th.
A lengthy discussion was held on annexation and on selling water.
The commission felt that there should be a lot of forethought
and planning given to annexation and therefore we reco~~ended
that water could be sold to Gratis Construction Co.providing
they'install at their e>rpense,mains to water tower and delay
any action on annexation until all aspects are discussed with
