HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-03-24-Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes1'82 Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was asked by City Council to be present at their meeting to hear commertts made by City Attorney, Paul Huscher,and City Engineer,Roger Buffington,in connection with parking regulations. At 8:37 p.m.,Waukee P &Z met in the library with all members present. Roll call:Heskett,Casey,Johnson,Weeks,Foster,Borchers and Hertes. Discussion was held again on some rules for P &Z to follow regarding the 2 mile limit from Waukee city limits.All agreed we do need some regulation. Hark Casey made motion that we recommend to City Council to uniformity in all of C-2 areas within the City of Waukee by ing on-street parking in C-2 district.Second by Borchers. carried. create allow- Motion Motion made by Foster to adjourn,second by Borchers.Hotion carried. A roll call of members present:Borchers,Foster,Heskett,Mertes, and Casey.Absent:Jerry Johnson. Guests:Joe Brick and Frank Hoifeldt. lir Brick presented a petition for rezoning 160 acres of land he owris,legally described as:Northwest quarter of Section 35, Township 79 North,Range 25,West of the 5th P.li.,located within the City of Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa.,from A-l to M-l. Casey made the motion that we recommend to the Waukee City Council that"the whole 160 acres or northwest quarter of section owned by Joe Brick be rezoned from A-l to 11-1,second by Heskett.Motion carried. It was noted that a resignation had been received from Bill Weeks.
