February 26,1991 meeting continued.
303.128--change the word "long"to "longer"and the word "a"to
read "at"the closed end with a turnaround
303.165--change the word "With"to "within"the subdivision
303.178--Steve Pierce will look into this
303.189--Steve Pierce will check into crossing out "sidewalks"
303.185--Steve Pierce will look into this
303.209--This needs to be reviewed--to include the cost of review
process of the Engineer &Attorney.
The next meeting will be March 26,1991.
Motion by Royer,second by Applegate to adjourn at 9.05 P.M.

The regular meeting of the Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission
took place on Tuesday,March 26 at the Waukee Library.The
meeting was called to order by Mark Casey at 7.40 p.m.
Roll was taken and the following committee members
Christianson,Foster,Steele,Applegate.Absent.
Royer.
were present.
Korpanty,
Dianna Van Zee was present and taking minutes.
Guest present were:Steve Pierce-Veenstra &Kimm,Mark Gruber-
Building Administrator,Steve Venard,John Kursitis,Brian
Redshaw,Bob Christianson,Jim Berner,Steve GrUbb,Mark
Broderick.

Foster made a motion and second by Steele to approve the minutes
of February 25th.
The first order of business was,
steve GrUbb-Rezoning of Wi1df10wer-He would like the Corner lot
of 6 or 7 acres on University rezoned for commercial.Steve
Pierce discussed not having signatures for the petitions only
typed names and he asked that he talk with the surrounding
property owners and get their signatures,Steve GrUbb said he
WOUld.A discussion took place regarding the type of sewer for
this commercial property.Foster motioned to look at at the next
meeting subject to Steve Grubb getting signatures,second by
Christianson.Motion carried 4-0.
Next order of business was,
Rick Ross-Preliminary Plat Westfield for approval.A lengthy
discussion took place regarding cul-de-sacs and the waterline.
As it now stands the waterline is dead head.A discussion took
place regarding water looping.Steve Pierce would like to see
waterlooping to insure that there was enough water pressure at
the end of the cul-de-sacs.Rick stated that he would consider
water looping if Steve Pierce could show him that it is really
needed.Steve will do look into testing the water pressure.

Applegate motioned,second by Steele to accept the Preliminary
Plat of Westfield subject to water being worked out and the items
in Steve Pierce's letter being addressed.Motioned 3-0.
Abstained,Christianson.The Plat will be sent onto the Council
for review at their next meeting~
John Kursitis discussed his City Planning Survey handouts.He
talked briefly about having help from Hannah Weil.He asked that
they read over the material and he would go over it with them at
the next meeting.
Foster motioned,Applegate second to adjourn at 9:00 P.M.
The next meeting will be on April 22,1991.
