Motion by Dick Gerbert,seconded by Don Faust,to ask city council :-1
to give opinion of what will be the procedure for maintaining
the surface of 8th Street,and tO'ask city engineer's op~n~on J
on sewer back-up on Cherry St sewer,particularly the corner
hourses on 6th &Cherry and if there is a possibility of a
covenant to the effect that builders would not build apartments
in the development.Motion carried.
Motion made by Don Faust that if condominiums failed,remaining
ground be reverted back to A-1 zoning.No action taken on motion.
Bud Gray presented plan for four (4)lot in addition to previously
submitted Plat 8 plans.Four (4)lots submitted as Plat 9.
All requirements were met previously on Plat 8.Motion by Claire
Chedester to approve addition,second by Don Faust.Approved.
Suggestions for ordinance work to be revised and updated:
1.Condominium should be defined in zoning ordinance and is there
a possibility of a separate zoning for condominiums.
2.Define tie downs in mobile home requirements.Specifically
how many.
3.From the standpoint of public interest,P &Z feels there
should be no zoning changes to R-3 until current ratio of I
single housing to multiple housing changes.Motion to I
that effect made by Faust and second by Chedester.Carried..
4.When zoning change is proposed;property owners within 200
feet of proposed change need to be notified by mail of
such proposal.
5.A requirement should be considered for making cats be
required to have rabies vaccination.
6.Bob Gallagher asked for a printed form for signature of
P &Z chairman to be attached to plans approved.
Motion for adjournment by Dick Herbert,second by Joe Powell.Carried.

Jim Berner presented final plat drawing of Judy Ann Estates and
asked for approval of plat drawing only as requested by attorney
to facilitate legal matters concerning sale and purchase of the
ground involved..
Dick Herbert made motion to approve final plat drawing of Judy
Ann Estates,subject to submission of materials needed for final
plat.Second by Norma,franks.Carried 4 to O.
Motion made by Dick Gerbert to the effect that Bob Gallagher remain
on P &Z committee until either moving from Waukee or until his
term runs out.Second by Norma Franks.Carried.

Chairman Bob Gallagher called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Moved by Powell,second by Herbert,to accept minutes as read.Carried.
Paul Huscher presented preliminary plat plan for Leonard's subdivision.
Division is devided in 8 plats with existing houses on 5 of 7 lots.
Moved by Herbert,second by Franks to accept.Carried 4 to O.
Jack Inman asked for procedures on dividing two existing lot and
creating a new lot.He was referred to the Board of Adjustment.
Bud Gray presented pre-application for Plat 10 of Corene Acres.
The committee review plat pland and noted lot 137-138 and part
of 139 are in A-I zoning and will need a zoning change for procedure.
The rest of plat conforms with P &Z regulations.
Noted that in new zoning ordinance book,page 15 of subdivisions
section 704.2A states lot shall not be less than 60'wide at
building set back.This should read "65'"
Moved by Herbert,second by Powell,to adjourn.
