The regular Planning and Zoning Commission was called to o rde r at
7:35 P.M.by Chairman Mark Casey on August 27,1991.
The following committee members were present:Joan Christianson,
Dick Applegate,Randy Foster.LLoyd Royer,Eric Korpanty,Jerry
Steele.Absent:None
Dianna Van Zee was present and taking minutes.
Guests:Jecry Purdy,,Jerry Oliver,Steve Pierce,John Kursitis,
Bob Barr:ett-Council Representative,Brian Redshaw,Mayor Floyd W.
Rosenkr"anz.
The minutes were read with the following correction to be made:
the minutes of the July 23rd to be changed to June 25,1991.The
minutes were approved 7 to 0.
Jerry Purdy discussed with the commission the revised site plan.
TIle Board of Adjustment and approved the set back.At this point
Applt·?gatemoved to approve the revised site plan for the Immanuel
Lutheean Church Education Wing Addition,second by Foster.
Motion carried 7 to 0.
Jerry Oliver of Civil Engineeeing discussed Windfield.He was
seek approval of the Master Plan and Preliminary Plats 1,2 lit 3.
Plat 4 will not be approved until later.The watermain the
developer will put in at the time Plat 4 is developed.There
will be no paeking on Windfield Street.A discussion took place
regarding at what point to not allow building.Foster motioned
to revise the Master Plan and Preliminary Plats as follows:

Include in Plat 3 lots 1,2,3,4,5,&6 of Plat 4 and to I
include lots 27,28,29,30,31,32 &33 of Plat 3 into Plat 4.
Developer will be required to put up a deposit with the City for
their share of Laurel Street,second by Steele.Motion carried 7
to 0.
John Burcham representing Sugar Creek Public Golf Course came to
Planning &Zoning to discuss his proposed Golf Course.It will
have an Executive 9,Driving Range and a Miniature Golf Course.

will be able to look at it further.

is curcently calling and cemailing sucveys so they hopefully get
some more t'esponse out of the businesses.
Hayor Floycl IN.Ros~mkcanz discussed the s u rve y on Metro Bus to
Waukee.ThiB will be late nest fall.He also talk to the P&Z
that t ho re Ls a lot of indust r t.os showing interest t n Waukee and
they will need to be open to possibly having mo re then one
