October 5,1982
The October meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called to
order by chairman Frank Hoifeldt at 7:34 p.m.on October 5,1982.
Members present were:Dan Moore,Bruce Buxton,Lee Felt,Nicky Keller,
and Frank Hoifeldt.

Guests were:Bud Gray and Roger Buffington.
Bud Gray requested recommendation of approval of final plat of Plat 10.
Recommendation was tabled until Mr Gray presents the required documents
to the Commission.
Moved by Keller,second by Buxton,to waive the 14 day period of prior
submission.The motion failed for a quorum vote--2 ayes,1 nay and 1
abstension by Moore.
Moved by Moore,second by Hoifeldt,that the minutes of the previous
meeting be approved.Motion carried.
The City Council meeting of October 12th was discussed.All members
were requested to attend.
Moved by Keller,second by Moore,to adjourn.The motion passed
unanimously.
Meeting was adjourned at 9 :53 p.m.

A special meeting of the Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission was
called to order on October 19,1982 at 7:35 p.m.Commission members
present were:Norma Franks,BrllceBuxton,Pat Gutshall,Lee Felt,
Nicole Keller,and Frank Hoifeldt.Absent were:Dan Moore.Guests
present were:Bud Gray,Roger Buffington,and Joe Neubauer.
Final approval of Gray's Plat 10 was discussed.All documents required
by the Subdivision were in order.A statement recommending approval
was made by the City Engineer,Roger Buffington.
The requirement of planting trees in the right of way was discussed as
they would be located over the city sewer line.There was a discussion
regarding allowing parking on one side of the street because the 25 ft.
wide street would not allow parking according to current ordinance.
Felt moved to approve final Plat 10 and waive the tree planting require-I
ment.Franks seconded,The roll call vote indicated unanimous J
approvaL ..
Felt moved and Gutshall seconded to adjo ~.
