HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-11-14-Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes125 October 11,1983 The special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:05 p.m. Roll call:Present: Absent: Felt,Demand,Gutshall,Hoifeldt Keller Guests:Ruger Buffington,John Grubb,and Barry Bishop A motion was made by Felt and seconded by Gutshall to approve the June,July and August minutes as presented.Motion carried 4 to O. John Gr~bb and Barry Bishop presented pre-plat information of the area in the SW corner of town now zoned R-4 and proposed to be zoned R-2.Planning and Zoning questioned the developers as to what type of sanitary sewer system they proposed to install (gravity or lift station).It was recommended to the developers that th¥y submit their preliminary plat. Roger Buffington explained proposed changes to the subdivision regulations that he was hoping to present to the City Council in the near future. A motion was made by Demand and seconded by Felt to adjourn.Motion carried 4 to O. The next regular meeting will be November 7,1983 at 7:30 p.m. November 14,1983 The November meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:32 p.m.on Monday,November 14,1983.Members present were: Floyd Rosenkranz,Pat Gutshall,Frank Hoifeldt,Lee Felt,Nicole Keller, Absent:Thomas Demand. Guests present were:Roger Buffington and Barry Bishop Moved by Gutshall,seconded by Rosenkranz,to pass the minutes of the October 17,1983 meeting.Passed unanimously. The preliminary plat of Glenview Manor was presented by Barry Bishop. Roger Buffington of Snyder &Associates presented his comments regarding the plat.Many points were discussed. Moved by Keller,second by Felt,that the Planning &Zoning Commission recommend approval of the plat with the lift station,with recommendation that further attempts be made by the City to get easement to allow a gravity fed sewer.Passed unanimously. Moved by Gutshall,second by Hoifeldt,to adjourn.Passed unanimously. The Res next meeting will be December 5,1983 at 7:30 tful !bmitted,Nicole Keller,secretary, p.m.at City Hall.
