December 5,1983
The December meeting of the Planning &'.Zoning Commi.s.sLon was called
to order at 7:30 p.m.
A roll call was taken and the following members were present:Lee Felt,;"'1
Ray Rinard,Floyd Rosenkranz,and Frank Hoifeldt.Absent:Pat Gutshall,I
Nicole Keller,and Tom Demand.
A motion was made by Felt and seconded by Rosenkranz,to approve the
November 14,1983 minutes as written.Carried 4 to O.
A discussion was held concerning Glenview ~1anor preliminary plat status
with the following suggestions:
a.That the City consider a 5 year maintenance bond on the lift
station for Glenview Manor,if a lift station is installed.
b.It was suggested that it might be less expensive for the City not
to go with condemnation of property for the gravity flow system--
compared to legal costs that might occur from such action compared
to maintenance off the lift station.
A motion was made by Felt and seconded by Rosenkranz to adjourn.Carried
4 to O.
The next regular meeting will be January 9,1984.Note:Election of
officers will occur at this time.

Absent:Gutshall.No guests were present.
The minutes were read.Moved by Hoifeldt,second by Keller,to approve
minutes as read.Motion passed unanimously.
Moved by Keller,second by Hoifeldt,to nominate Thomas Demand as 1984
chairman.Passed unanimously.
Moved by Hoifeldt,second by Felt,to nominate Nicole Keller as 1984
vice-chairman.Passed unanimously.
Moved by Keller,second by Felt,to nominate Ray Rinard as 1984 secretary.
Passed unanimously.
Moved by Hoifeldt,second by Felt,to adjourn.at 8;10 p.m.Passed
unanimously.
The next meeting will be February 6,1984 at 7:30 p.m.
Meeting adjourned.
