The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steele at 7:03 p.rn.with the following
members present:Hoifeldt,McCoige,Applegate and Royer.Korpanty and Bennett absent.
AGENDA APPROVAL
Delete introduction of Rick Bennett.Add discussion of Hawthome Ridge Apartments
(Dream Catchers),to agenda.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS MINUTES
Motion by Applegate,to approve October 98 meeting minutes.Second by Royer
Ayes:unanimous.
FINAL PLAT -BRODERlCK PLACE
There are still required legal documents that need to be filed with the city for review.
Motion by Applegate,to approve the final plat subject to approval oflegal documentation
by staff.Second by Royer.Ayes:Unanimous.
INMAN SITE PLAN 205 ASHWORTH
The only issue ofthe site plan that had not been addressed was the curbs along the south
line of the parking lot.Jack Inman agreed to put curbs along that portion.
Motion by Hoifeldt,to approve the site plan as presented.Second by Royer.
Ayes:Unanimous.
SOUTHVIEW ESTATES -PRELIMINARY PLAT
The preliminary plat is substantially in compliance,and the only remaining issues are
related to construction plans.
Motion by Applegate,to approve the site plan as presented.Second by Hoifeldt.
Ayes:Unanimous.
REZONING -DOWNING -A-I to MI-A
Downing Development presented a proposal for the rezoning of 8.26 acres east of their
existing industrial area.They had previously submitted the required documents and paid the
appropriate fees.
Motion by Royer,to approve the rezoning request.Second by Applegate.
Ayes:Unanimous.
BUSINESS ENTERPRlSE PARK PLAT 2 -PRELIMINARY PLAT
Downing Development has presented a plat for the same 8.26 acres that was previously
approved for rezoning.The documents substantially conform to the requirements ofthe city.
Motion by Applegate,to approve the Preliminary Plat.Second by McCoige.

SEPTAGON SITE PLAN FOR 16180 E.LAUREL (Hickman West Industrial Park)
V &K had reviewed the proposed site plans,and had 6 items that were not in compliance,
Septagon agreed to correct all of the items,except for the placement of sidewalks.The
commission waived the sidewalk requirement as no other site in the industrial park has placed
sidewalk.
Motion by Royer to approve the site plan with corrections required and waive the
sidewalk requirement.Second by Applegate.
Ayes:Unanimous.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Motion by Applegate,for the Officers to remain in their current positions for this calendar
year.Second by Hoifeldt.
Ayes:Unanimous
HAWTHORNE RIDGE APARTMENTS -DREAM CATCHERS
Frank Hoifeldt wanted to make everyone aware that one of the principals on this project
had taken bankruptcy,and that the remaining principals were changing the proj ect from housing
available only to disabled persons to housing available to low income persons.
