The.meeting was called to order by Chairman Steele at 7:01pm with the following
members present:Steele,Hoifeldt,McCoige,Applegate,Korpanty,Bennett and Royer.
AGENDA APPROVAL
Correct title from February to March,allow comments from citizen Jim Thompson about
Southview Estates,and Hoifeldt asked that general discussion of Dream Catchers be added
before adjournment.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS MINUTES
Motion by Applegate,second by Korpanty to approve January meeting minutes.
Ayes:unanimous.
REZONING MUNN PROPERTY -A-I TO C-4
Engineering Design Services represented by Larry Hague brought a preliminary site plan
for a large residential style proffessional office building.Crows and Olson,adjoining property
owners,objected.
Motion by Hoifeldt to approve the rezoning request.Seconded by Korpanty.Ayes:
Steele,McCoige and Hoifeldt.Nays:Korpanty,Applegate,Royer.and Bennett.
BELFRY ESTATES REZONING
Kevin Crawford of Bishop Engineeering represented this approximately 12 acre parcel
west of 1420d St.and south of Southfork Woods.The request is to change the zoning from A-I
to R-l.
Motion by Applegate to approve the rezoning request.Seconded by Korpanty.Ayes:
Unanimous.
BELFRY ESTATES PRELIMINARY PLAT
Kevin Crawford of Bishop Engineeering represented this approximately 12 acre parcel
west of142od St.and south of Southfork Woods.The preliminary Plat had been reviewed by
staff and Kevin agreed to make all of the required changes.
Motion by Royer to approve the preliminary plat subj ect to noted revisions being made
prior to consideration by Council.Seconded by McCoige.Ayes:Unanimous.
PARKVIEW CROSSING FINAL PLAT
Rick Ross represented his plat,and agreed that all staff required changes and legal
documents would be provided before the plat is submitted to council.
Motion by Applegate to approve the final plat subject to noted revisions being made prior
to consideration by Council.Seconded by Korpanty.Ayes:Unanimous.

GILCREST JEWETT LUMBER SITE PLAN
Chuck Bishop of Bishop Engineering represented the site plan.Because of the late
submittal date,they had not had the opportunity to address the comments made by V &K,but
agreed to make any required changes.
Motion by Applegate to approve the site plan,with approval of comments by V &K,
waive the buffer requirement on the north boundry of the property,as the property to the north is
zoned similarly,require the 50'buffer along the West Boundry.Second by Korpanty.Ayes
Unanimous.
Motion by Korpanty to waive the installation of the sidewalk until such time as they are
required by city council.Seconded by Royer.Ayes:Unanimous.J
HAWTHORNE RIDGE TOWNHOMES PRELIMINARY PLAT
Brad Cooper of Civil Engineering Consultants represented this plat which is the last
portion of the Hawthorne Ridge project,and will consist entirely oftownhomes on the east side )
of Mapleleaf.Brad had already made all of the changes to the plat as noted by V &K,and agreed Ji
to any other changes that might be required.
Motion by Korpanty to approve the fmal plat subj ect to noted revisions being made prior
to consideration by Council.Seconded by Applegate.Ayes:Unanimous.
HAWTHORNE RIDGE TOWNHOMES SITE PLAN
Brad Cooper of Civil Engineering Consultants represented this site plan which is the last
portion of the Hawthorne Ridge proj ect,and will consist entirely of townhomes on the east side
of Mapleleaf.Brad had already made all of the changes to the plat as noted by V&K,and agreed
to any other changes that might be required.
Motion by Applegate to approve the fmal plat subject to noted revisions being made prior
to consideration by Council.Seconded by Korpanty.Ayes:Unanimous.
HAWTHORNE RIDGE APARTMENTS
La.iTYRyan,indicated that he had spoken to Jerry Purdy of Design Alliance,and told him
that there were indications and rumors that the Hawthorne Apartment project had changed its
format from exclusively for disabled to available for low income without disability.Larry has
also told Design Alliance and Downing Construction that the building permit will be revoked if
the owners of the proj ect to not provide written verification and assurance that the Hawthorne
Aprtment project will be exclusively for disabled persons.
