The meeting was called to order at 7:06pm with the following members present:Hoifeldt,Steele,
Heskett,McCoige,Korpanty,Royer and Applegate.

Previous Meetings Minutes
Motion by Applegate,seconded by Hoifeldt to approve February meeting minutes.
Ayes:unanimous.
PRELThITNARYPLATBOOTHPROPERTY
Steven Venard with Bishop Engineering represented the development.Discussion of 24'
slab for north '12 of Ashworth instead of the required 31'street with curb and gutter as required by
ordinance.There were still some items developer and engineer need to address as listed in letter
from V &K Engineering.
Motion by Hoifeldt,seconded by Applegate to approve the preliminary plat subject to 31'
street as required by ordinance and with items sited by V &K corrected before presentation to City
Council on April 20.Ayes:Unanimous.
ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGES
The members of the commission and staff discussed commercial uses that that might be
allowed in industrial districts,making a more comprehensive definition of parking requirements in
various districts.John Kursitis brought ordinances from surrounding towns for members review.
No desicion made,put on April meeting agenda.
DESIGN STANDARDS/SITE PLAN
The commission discussed potential increases in site plan review to include design
standard language.Councilwoman Heath offered that the City did not have staff or financial
resources to implement an elaborate design standards plan.The revised Site Plan Review
Ordinance offered by V &K already addresses materials,landscaping,buffers for all zones except
R-l and R-2.Members will review all of the materials presented and attempt to attend the
Council's work session scheduled for April 13.No decisions were made.Put back on agenda for
April Meeting.
