COMMISSION MEETING.
Chairman Steele called the March 26,2002 meeting of the Planning &Zoning Commission to
order at 6:59 p.m.
Roll Call.The Chairman asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were present:
White,Willits,Korpanty,Hoifeldt,Krantz,Steele,and McCoige.Absent:None.
Council Representative present:Watts.
Agenda Approval.Chairman Steele asked if there were any changes to the agenda.None.
Motion by Commissioner Willits,second by Commissioner White to "Approve the Agenda".
The Commission Chairman asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Willits,White,Hoifeldt,McCoige,
Korpanty,Krantz,and Steele.Nays:None.
Adoption of Previous Meetings Minutes.Motion by Commissioner Hoifeldt,second by
Commissioner McCoige to "Adopt the February 26,2002 meeting minutes."Chairman Steele
asked for a roll call vote.Ayes:Hoifeldt,McCoige,White,Willits,Korpanty,Krantz,and
Steele.Nays:None.
Approve the Ordinance Change Requests for the following sections:§301.17 ("C-l"
Community and Highway Service Commercial District),§301.22 ("M-l"Light Industrial
District),and §301.23 ("M-IA"Limited Industrial District).Motion by Hoifeldt,second by
Willits to "To make a recommendation to the City Council to approve the amendment request for
Sections 301.17,300.22,and 301.23 by removing Greenhouses,Mini warehouses,self storage,
and Monument sales yards from the C-l Zoning District;adding the Greenhouses and Mini
warehouses,self storage to the M -1 Zoning Classification;and adding Monument Sales Yard to
the M-lA Zoning Classification".Chairman Steele asked for a roll call vote.Ayes:Hoifeldt,
Willits,McCoige,White,Korpanty,Krantz,and Steele.Nays:None.
Approve the Ordinance Change Request for §221 -Communication Towers.Motion by
Commissioner Korpanty,second by Commissioner Willits to "Table the Ordinance request for
§22l (Communication Towers)until both the staff and the commission have had more time to
review the ordinance".Chairman Steele asked for a roll call vote.Ayes:Korpanty,Willits,
Hoifeldt,McCoige,White,Krantz,and Steele.Nays:None.
Approve the Ordinance Change Request for §303.127 for the Construction of Trails.
Motion by Commissioner Hoifeldt,second by Commissioner Korpanty to "Table the Ordinance
request for §303 .127 (Construction of Trails)until the next Planning and Zoning Meeting".
Chairman Steele asked for a roll call vote.Ayes:Willits,Hoifeldt,White,McCoige,and Steele.
Nays:None.
Approve the Ordinance Change Request to §303.82 -Street Design Standards.Motion by
Commissioner Willits,second by Commissioner Korpanty to "To make a recommendation to the
City Council to approve the amendment request to section §303.82 (Street Design Standards)

regarding the street design standards".Chairman Steele asked for a roll cal vote.Ayes:Willits,
Korpanty,Hoifeldt,White,McCoige,Krantz,and Steele.Nays:None.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Willits,second by Commissioner White to adjourn at
7:50 p.m.Chairman Steele asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Willits,White,Hoifeldt,McCoige,
Korpanty,Krantz,and Steele.Nays:None.
