PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES -5/28/96
Present:Blazanin;Heskett;Steel;Applegate Absent:Korpanty,Hoifeldt,Royer
Motion to approve the agenda by Blazanin,seconded by Heskett.Motion passed 4-0.
Motion by Applegate to approve the minutes with the corrections as stated,seconded by Heskett.
Motion passed 4-0.
SITE PLAN WAUKEE STATE BANK
Representatives from the Waukee State Bank presented their site plan.The piau allows for the possible
expansion of the permauent facility.The site will have a temporary banking facility while the permanent
facility is being constrncted.
Korpanty arrived at 7:35 PM.Motion by Blazanin,seconded by Applegate to approve the site piau.
Motion passed 5-0.
ALL-STATE GUTTER SITE PLAN.
Rick Ross presented the site plan for an additional building on the site of All-State Gutter.If a variance
is not granted by the Board of Adjustments,the building cannot be built on the site.Permission will also
be needed by IDOT to use the Right-of-Way for a turn around.They plan on renting the building for
now.The driveway onto Tenth Street was also discussed.
Motion by Korpanty,2nd by Applegate to recommend to the Board of Adjustments that the Planing and
Zoning Commission backs the preliminary site plan,subject to mOT's approval.Motion passed 5-0.
This issue will corne back the next meeting.
STREET DESIGNATIONS
The Commission briefly talked about the proposed street designations.
Motion to adjourn at 8:24 by Blazanin,seconded by Korpanty.Motion passed 5-0.
