The August 24,1999 Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:03 p.m.by
Chairman Steele.

Roll Call.The Chairman asked for a roll call vote and the following Commissioners were
present:Steele,McCoige,Bennett,Hoifeldt and Korpanty.Absent:Applegate and Royer.
Additionally,Mayor Donald L.Bailey and Councilman Larry Lyon present for the meeting.
Commissioner Arrives.Commissioner Royer arrived at 7:05 p.m.
Agenda Approval.Motion by Commissioner Steele,second by Commissioner McCoige to
approve the agenda.The Commission Chairman asked for a role call vote:Ayes:Steele,
McCoige,Royer,Hoifeldt,Korpanty and Bennett.Nays:None.
Adoption of Previous Meetings Minutes.Motion by Commissioner Hoifedlt,second by
Commissioner McCoige to approve July meeting minutes.The Commission Chairman asked for
a role call vote:Ayes:Hoifedlt,McCoige,Royer,Bennet,Korpanty and Steele.Nays:None.
Westgate Plat 3 -Final Plat.Motion by Commissioner Royer,seconded Commissioner
Hoifedlt to recommend City Council approval of the Westgate Plat 3 -Final Plat provided all V
&K's and Jolm Gibson's recommendations are met.The Commission Chairman asked for a role
call vote:Ayes:Royer and Hoifeldt.Nays:Korpanty,McCoige,Bennett and Steele.
Motion by Commissioner McCoige,seconded Commissioner Korpanty to recommend City
Council approval of the Westgate Plat 3 -Final Plat provided all V &K's and City Staff seeks a
comprise on the eastern 1/3 of the plat for the provision of drainage.The Commission Chairman
asked for a role call vote:Ayes:McCoige,Korpanty,Bennett,Steele and Hoifeldt.Nays:Royer.
Beasley/Giles Rezoning "Alice's Road P.D.D."Motion by Commissioner Hoifeldt,second by
Commissioner Bennett to place Beasley/Giles Rezoning "Alice's Road P.U.D."on the September
28,1999 Planning and Zoning Agenda with the understanding that the Commission is favorable to
the general concept but requires additional legal descriptions and documentation before they can
provide their consent.The Commission Chairman asked for a role call vote:Ayes:Hoifeldt,Bennett,
Royer,McCoige,Korpanty and Steele.Nays:None.
Brentwood Final Plat.Motion by Commissioner Royer,second by Commissioner Bennett to
recommend sending Brentwood Final Plat to the City Council for Final Plat Approval provided
that V &K's concerns are addressed.The Commission Chairman asked for a role call vote:
Ayes:Royer,Bennett,McCoige,Korpanty,Hoifeldt and Steele.Nays:None.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Royer,second by Commissioner Korpanty to adjourn
at 8:45 p.m.The Commission Chairman asked for a role call vote:Ayes:Royer,Korpanty,
McCoige,Steele,Hoifeldt and Bennett.Nays:None.I
