The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steele at 7:08pm with the following
members present:Heskett,McCoige,Applegate and Royer.Korpanty,Hoifeldt,absent.
AGENDA APPROVAL
The chairman changed item 6,discussion of the comprehensive land use plan update,to
discussion of the bike trail easement in Southfork
PREVIOUS MEETINGS MINUTES
Motion by Royer,second by Heskett to approve September meeting minutes.
Ayes:unanimous.
FINAL PLAT -INDIGO RIDGE PLAT 1
Larry Hague of Engineering Design Services represented the project and indicated that
supporting legal documentation including appropriate bonds would be delivered to City Hall by
Friday October 30.John Kursitis of Veenstra &Kimm indicated that the final plat was in
substantial compliance with subdivision ordinance.
Motion by Dick Applegate to approve the final plat subject to approval oflegal
documentation and bonds by staff.Seconded by Royer.Ayes:Unanimous.
PRELIMINARY PLAT -BRENTWOOD
Larry Hague of Engineering Design Services represented the project.He explained that
all of the items listed in the review of the plat by Veenstra &Kimm had been corrected,and the
members of the commission were supplied with new maps.Jerry Crow had some concerns
regarding the Engelen property,but withdrew his concerns after discussion.John Kursitis of
Veenstra &Kimm indicated that the corrections brought the plat into substantial compliance with
city subdivision ordinance.Joan Heskett questioned staff about the proposed street names.
Motion by Royer to approve the preliminary plat as presented.Seconded by Applegate.
Ayes:Unanimous.
DISCUSSION BIKE TRAIL EASEMENT SOUTHFORK
Lloyd Royer had received an inquiry about the biketrail easement along the north side of
Southfork from the McGowans.Staff indicated that while the easement did in fact exist,there
were no plans for the bike path to be extended along that easement in the near future.
