MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 10,1999 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MEETING.)
The November 10,1999 Planning &Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:08 p.m.by
Chairman Steele.
Roll Call.The Chairman asked for a roll call vote and the following Commissioners were
present:Steele,Korpanty,McCoige,Applegate,Hoifledt,and Royer.Absent:Bennett,
St.Boniface Church Site Plan Approval:Motion by Commissioner Applegate,second by
Commissioner Royer to approve the site plan with the following conditions:(l)The sidewalks
not be required until the road is built or the property adjacent to the site is developed.(2)The
trees and shrubs required be based on the 10%minimum open space available in this four (4)
phase development and not on the total 13.26 acre lot size.(3)The comer of Warrior Lane,
University,and the Church entrance be squared off to allow a 3 way stop,with the cost of doing
so to be shared equally by S1.Boniface Church and the City of Waukee.(4)The on-site storm
water detention facility is not needed.(5)The location of fire hydrants will need to have the
approval of the Fire Chief.The Commission Chairman asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Steele,
Korpanty,McCoige,Hoifeldt,Royer,and Applegate.Nays:None.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Applegate,second by Commissioner Royer to adjourn
at 8:07 p.m.The Commission Chairman asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Steele,Korpanty,
McCoige,Applegate,and Royer.Nays:None.J
