Frank Hoifeldt is doing the new review schedule for the new
calendar year.
The next meeting will be December 27th at 7:00 p.m.
Motion by Applegate.second by Steele to adjourn the meeting at
8:50 P.M.Motion carried 7 to 0.

The Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was called to o~de~on
Tuesday,Decembe~27th at 7,02 P.M.by Chai~man Lloyd Roye~.
Roll was taken and the following membe~s we~e p~esent,Roye~,
Heskett,Steele,Applegate,Blazanin,Hoifeldt,Ko~panty a~~ived
at 7,40 P.M.Absent,None.

After discussion Blazanin motioned and Applegate second to send

A discussion took place ~ega~ding the pa~king fo~day ca~e
cente~s.We have nothing in ou~O~dinance ~ega~ding this subject
and this needs to be add~essed.The Commission would be
establishing thei~ideas of what minimum pa~king ~equi~ements
should be.Applegate motioned Steele seconded that the~e be 1
pa~king spot fo~each employee,1 pe~10 pupils to licensed
capacity.Motioned failed 1 to 6.
December 27 P&Z minutes cont.
More discussion took place and they decided to amend the motion
by Blazanin and second by Steele as follows,I space for full-
time employees,plus I space per 10 license capacity.A lengthy
discussion took place regarding full-time versus each employee.
Voting took place,motion carried 6 to 1 (Applegate voting no).
Impact Fee,John Kursitis discussed with the Commission what the
impact fees were and the formula on how they arrived are the
amount of money they would be charged,and what this could and
could not be used for.Motioned by Hoifeldt second by Korpanty
to recommend to the council to instigate development impact fee
as stated by Veenstra &Kimm on page 8 of their October 24th
letter to the Council.Motion carried 7 to 0.
Regarding the set backs for the original part of the mobile home
park (code section 301.15 E4)the Commission decided that this
was something that would have to go to the Board of Adjustments
each time this became an issue.They did not feel they could
change the ordinance to accommodate this section of the park ..-~-,

need to see this so they did nothing with this.

ordinance updates.This will be talked about at the next
meeting.
