MINUTES OF THE MONDAY DECEMBER 30,2002 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING.
Chairman Steele called the December 30,2002 special meeting ofthe Planning &Zoning Commission to
order at 5:06 p.m.
Roll Call.The Chairman asked for a roll call and the following Commissioners were present:Hoifeldt,

Agenda Approval.Chairman Steele asked ifthere were any changes to the agenda.None.Motion by
Commissioner Willits,seconded by Commissioner McCoige,to "Approve the Agenda for December 30,
2002 Special Meeting."Ayes:Hoifeldt,Krantz,McCoige,White,Willits,Steele.Nays:None.Motion
carried,
Approval of December 10,2002 Minutes.Chairman Steele asked if there were any changes to the
December 10,2002 minutes,None.Motion by Commissioner Krantz,seconded by Commissioner White,to
"Adopt the December 10,2002 Minutes."Ayes:Hoifeldt,Krantz,McCoige,White,Willits,Steele.Nays:
None.Motion carried.
Approve the Final Plat for Windfield II,Plat 2.No one appeared before the Commission to present the
Final Plat for Windfield II,Plat 2.All fees have been paid;all legal documentation has been received by the
City.John Gibson stated that the developer had bonded for the replacement of curb and gutter on SE
Meadowlark Lane,and the removal of curb and gutter on SE Windfield Parkway where ponding is
occurring.The work is to be completed in Spring 2003.A prior City Council directive states that all of SE
Windfield Parkway be renamed Olson Drive,but Chad Weaver and City staff suggest that the portion of the
street running north/south be renamed something entirely new.This would leave the portion of the street
running east/west from Warrior Lane to the newly named section as SE Windfield Parkway,and the portion
running east/west from the newly named section to Alice's Road as Olson Drive.Motion by Commissioner
Willits,seconded by Commissioner McCoige,to "Approve the Final Plat for Windfield II,Plat 2,provided.
all V &K and City staff connnents are addressed,that the SE desiguation be added to the streets within the
plat,and that the portion ofSE Windfield Parkway running north/south be renamed."Ayes:Hoifeldt,Krantz,
McCoige,White,Willits,Steele.Nays:None.Motion carried.
New Business.The election of officers for the Planning &Zoning Commission will be scheduled for the
January 14,2003 regular meeting.
Adjournment.Motion by Commissioner Willits,seconded by Commissioner Krantz,to adjourn at 5:17
p.m.Ayes:Hoifeldt,Krantz,McCoige,White,Willits,Steele.Nays:None.Meeting adjourned.
