Site Plan for Alexander &Associates and Syrvet,Inc.will be
considered at the next Planning &Zoning meeting to be held on
Tuesday,May 11 at 7:00 P.M.
Zoning Ordinance update will be at the June meeting.
The next meeting will be May 11th at 7:00 P.M.
Applegate motioned,Steele seconded to adjourn at 9:20 P.M.
Motion carried 7 to 0.

The May 11th Planning &Zoning meeting was called to order at
7:06 in the Gazebo at the City triangle.
Present:Christianson,Korpanty,Hoifeldt,Steele.
Absent:Royer,Applegate &Blazanin
Guests:Council Rep.Frank Duroy,Leo Pelds,Mike Alexander &
Pat Shepard.
Leo Pelds presented the site plan for Syrvet in Hickman West
Industrial Park.Discussion was held on easement question along
south end of the Industrial Park.Power (electrical)&phone
utilities will not be located there.Hoifeldt made a motion to
approve site plan,with Korpanty seconding.Approved 4-0.
Leo Pelds then presented site plan for Alexander and Associates.
John Kursitis of Veenstra &Kimm Engineering arrived at 7:28.
Recommendations from V&K were reviewed.Discussed change in
access from Alice's Road.This Change was agreed to.
Covenant for Hickman West was then discussed.
Plans did not reflect covenant restrictions on
exterior walls.

Hoifeldt made a motion fo~app~oval of site plan fo~Alexande~on
two conditions:1)Eliminate access to Alice's Road.2)Follow
covenants on use of b~ick o~stone (except on west wall which is
an expansion wall).Roll call vote:App~oved 4-0.
Hoifeldt made a motion to amend Sy~vet site plan app~oval to
include covenant stipulations.Ko~panty seconded.App~oved 4-0.
Pat Shepa~d p~esented a ~equest to amend p~elimina~y plat fo~
Windfield.Request was to switch plats 2 and 3.Ko~panty made
motion to app~ove the ~equest,Hoifeldt seconded.Passed by
voice vote.
Steele motioned fo~adjou~nment with Hoifeldt second.
Next meeting will be held June 22nd at 7:30.Meeting was
adjou~ned at 8,15.

The Waukee Planning &Zoning Commission was called to o~de~on
Tuesday,June 22 by Vice-Chai~Ch~istianson at 7,32 P.M.Dianna
was p~esent and taking minutes.
The following membe~s we~e p~esent,Hoifeldt,Steele,Blazanin,
Ch~istianson,Applegate.Absent,Roye~,Ko~panty.
Guests,Co-Rep.Du~oy,Homeowne~s f~om 7-Pines development.
The minutes f~om 4/27 we~e ~ead and app~oved.Motioned by
Hoifeldt and second by Steele.Motion ca~~ied 5 to 0.
B~atney Site Plan,B~atney is #6 on the Hickman West Indust~ial
Pa~k map.They a~e p~oposing a 1 sto~y office building and
wa~ehouse of app~oximately 34,000 sq ft.behind the office.Some
of the wa~ehouse will be leased.
D~ainage-They p~opose to collect the wate~and put in a p~oposed
sto~m sewe~on Walnut.They want to lowe~the sto~m sewe~3 ft
to make it easie~to connect.John Ku~sitis discussed with them
that it could p~obably be lowe~ed no mo~e then 1 1/2 ft and they
would have to ~aise it I 1/2 ft.This still needed to be wo~ked
out.
